When it’s there, I guess you have to use it

The Portuguese are fond of wordplay, I hear. This little beach bar invites pilgrims to stamp their credentials and when I comment on the stamp, the proprietor happily explains that “100 Chinelo” means “No slippers”, because “cen” for “hundred” sounds the same as “sen” for “without”. Clever, no?
