Today. Was. Hard. As in difficult. I’d say we’re handling the heat quite fine, but it isn’t the easiest, still. Any 30km hike is no joke (not a funny one, at least) but add to that 35+ temperatures and it becomes real work.
But hey, there’s more of that to come, so complaining doesn’t do much good. We’ve also met some hard-as-nails people here at the municipal albergue at Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. I wonder how much sleep I get – people are quiet, thankfully, but the window is open and the street is busy.
