Day 11. Pontevedra – Valga

A couple of new things today: somebody wakes us up at, like, 4:30am (after not being able to sleep until much too late due to the busy restaurant life down in our street. So we decide to pop off even earlier and at 6-something we’re out the door. It’s dark and mysterious in the streets.

Then, a couple of hours in, it starts raining and it doesn’t stop raining. So, a wet morning in a forest. Not as bad as it might seem at first, actually.

Tomorrow is the big day, there’s about 34km to Santiago and we have plans to make it tomorrow. Here we come!

PS. The least useful thing isn’t the turn indicators on a BMW, it’s a kitchen in an albergue without any utencils. There isn’t even a glass to find here. You have an oven but absolutely nothing to put on it. So, a dinner out with new friends from Germany.
